With former Cloud9 Academy top laner Kumo and ex-C9 support Zeyzal filling out the roster, Evil Geniuses were competitive to begin the Spring Split but seemed unlikely to seriously contend in the standings. 2020 Season įor their first split back in the LCS, EG acquired multiple high-profile players: 2019 LCS Summer Split MVP jungler Svenskeren, dynamic former Team Vitality mid laner Jiizuke and former World Champion bot laner Bang. On May 29, 2019, PEAK6 Investments had acquired Evil Geniuses. Their NA LCS spot ultimately went to Winterfox.
